Eating at Disneyland Paris

We have recently received several questions about the food in and around the Disney parks in Paris. For example, many people have doubts about the meal plan because it is unclearly defined. To help you make the right choice, we have decided to share our experience regarding Food in Disneyland Paris with you. We try to do this part by day so that it is clear. If you still have any questions after reading this article, please do not hesitate to post a comment. We will do our best to answer all questions.

Breakfast:

If you stay in a Disney hotel or one of the surrounding hotels affiliated with Disney, it is almost always possible to enjoy a breakfast buffet at the hotel. This is often all-inclusive, which means that the full breakfast is included, including coffee and tea. We are not a huge fan of this ourselves, it is relatively pricey and you are limited to the offerings of the buffet in question.

We often choose to have breakfast in Disney Village or in the Park itself.

Please note: In the park itself there is often nothing more than a croissant available until 11:00. So if this is not enough for you, it is wise to have some breakfast in the Village. We often get a coffee at Starbucks and then we walk to Earl Sandwich for a delicious hot sandwich. Earl Sandwich opens at 8am. Another option for breakfast in the Village is New York Style Sandwiches, also offering sandwiches in the morning.

Sometimes we want to be in the park early during our stay, so we first get a cup of coffee and a croissant at the Market House Deli on the Main Street, where you can also sit quietly. From 11 a.m. a delicious Mickey-shaped sandwich with cheese and cream cheese is also served here. Besides being incredibly tasty, it is also Instagrammable.

Lunch:

By Lunch Time you will already have more options, most tents in the parks will now be open. You can choose to reserve lunch in one of the many restaurants in the parks. We definitely recommend doing this at least once during your stay in the magical park. This is because the restaurants often offer a special experience in addition to the food. Our personal favorite is Walt`s an American Restaurant. Here you delve into the history of Disney and the story behind the magical parks and attractions. To be honest, the food is not very special and it is mainly about the experience and the great service from the staff.

If you prefer not to have an extensive lunch, there are several places where you can pick up something to eat. For example, you can order a Hot Dog at Casey's Corner or, as mentioned earlier, get a sandwich at the Market House Deli. This is generally cheaper than a full lunch and is our preference because you also have more influence over what you want to eat.

Dinner:

You can organize your evening meal in Disney in various ways. If you are staying for several days, we recommend planning a buffet somewhere at least once. This can be done in your hotel, for example, but you can also choose to eat with the characters in the park in the Plaza Gardens restaurant. If you want this, it is useful to reserve a time slot well in advance so that you are assured of a place in this great restaurant.

You can also choose to get a tasty snack at McDonald's in the Disney Village or have an extensive meal in the Irish Pub. In addition to delicious drinks, this Pub also has great food.

Snacks:

Throughout both parks and the village you will find plenty of places to get a tasty snack here and there.

Conclusion:

There are more than enough options for everyone to find something to eat at Disneyland Paris. We often notice that there are few healthy options and that breakfast in France really only consists of a Croissant. We are not a huge fan of meal plans because of the price-quality ratio and the fact that you are stuck with certain locations.

Decide for yourself what you prefer to eat and how you want to spend your time in the parks. Do you have any questions? Then respond below and receive a response as soon as possible.
